MSA Partnership Ireland is an official registered charity, recognized by the Charities Commission Northern Ireland. Contributions to the charity are deductible. It is qualified to receive tax deductible bequests, devises, transfers and gifts.
MSA Patient Support, Awareness and Education Funding Statement
A portion of funds collected by MSA Partnership Ireland from donations and other funding sources will be directed toward efforts to help patients currently suffering from the disease, to support the education of medical professionals and to develop awareness campaigns. In order to conduct these activities, to do so in the most economically viable way and to have a greater impact, MSA Partnership Ireland will work with our partnering charities to bring about our support, educational and awareness objectives.
MSA Curative Research Funding Statement
Another portion of funds collected by MSA Partnership Ireland from donations and other funding sources will be directed toward efforts to cure and/or slow the progress of the disease. In this regard, we will foster promising research that is closest to clinical application and in order to do so in the most economically viable way, MSA Partnership Ireland will consult both with members of its own volunteer research advisory board members, ad hoc experts and allied charity partners. As with all of our activities, our aim will be to maintain the highest of professional ethics, organizational integrity and financial transparency.
The board of directors, the charity director and all the advisers associated with the charity are completely volunteer. There are no salaried employees.
